Training at Pitzer College 3/27/09 for Immigration Rights Group

staff and network recently brought their direct action know-how to the students of
Pitzer college in Southern California. Community members and students are collaborating on a
campaign to bring a stop to ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) raids in their neighborhood. Ruckus
staff conducted a Direct Action Planning training and learned about the
group's amazing work to halt unique 4-way immigration check points where
ICE officials have taken up to 200 vehicles into impound in one night
and detained and deported family members found to be without
documentation.
