CA Community Leaders demand Wells Fargo end Foreclosures

Ruckus was proud to support the Bank Accountability Coalition - made up of homeowners, clergy, and labor leaders from ACCE (Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment), Causa Justa::Just Cause, SEIU, and CCISCO (Contra Costa Interfaith Supporting Community Organization) - to pull off an inside/outside action at Wells Fargo's Annual Shareholders Meeting in San Francisco May 3, 2011. Hundreds marched and rallied outside, while a handful of community members entered the AGM and demanded that Wells Fargo put a moratorium on all home foreclosures. Eventually, 8 were arrested.
