Turning The Talk

As part of our ongoing partnership with the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON), Ruckus and our friends at smartMeme gathered with 30 amazing organizers from throughout the country January 29-February 2 in Atlanta, GA, as part of NDLON's "Turning The Talk" initiative.

Participants from throughout the Turning the Tide network were immersed in three days of story-based strategy and the uses of narrative thinking in designing direct action (after all, effective direct actions show the story, not tell it!). Participants then spent time applying what they had learned to real aspects of Turning the Tide's campaigns, with exciting and creative results that we'll all hopefully be seeing on the streets soon!
