June 28,2004--Philadelphia, PA--No More Bhopals! - Direct Action. Under the guise of "National Secruity," The American Chemistry Council met in Philadlphia for its "Chemical Safety Summit." The irony of the world's largest chemical corporations meeting about "safety" was just too much to take. The Ruckus Society and allies from the Environmental Health movement rallied community based organziations and the downtown Philly lunch crowd for a noon speakout and performance by Philly rock stars Rebel Radio in the shadow of a thirty-foot inflatable oil drum and refinery.
