September 30 - October 2, 2004 Oakland, CA SMS Summit The Ruckus Society, along with Aspiration Tech, Radical Designs, Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Verified Voting, Institute for Applied Autonomy, Coop Del Sur, Indy Voter, Mobile Voter, and ACORN came together as activists, strategists, and technologists to discuss, envision, and begin implementation of the use of Short Message Service (SMS) in the November United States elections and beyond.
